Hello! This is a little gallery of open-source and free-to-use fonts I like. Almost all of these designs are original, but a few are basically similar-as-is-legal clones of paid fonts, like Arial is to Helvetica. They are marked with a †.

Note that the quality of free fonts is sometimes not as high as their paid equivalents: they can have quirky kerning, a slim character set, etc. Therefore, if you can afford it, I recommend considering supporting an independent type foundry.

If you've wondering, this website is set in U001 and Nimbus Roman by URW, which were released for free as part of the Ghostscript project.
